Here are just a few of our
favorite links. We assure you that none of them have anything to
do with Supermarionation. If you're not too busy, check some of
them out right now. You might discover something interesting!
- Welcome to the Dominion! The Sci-Fi Channel is the
only reason we have cable today.
- The Walt Disney page. Marc hates the modern
Disney organization since Mike Eisner's people seem to
have decided to join the rest of the liberal media in
undermining our culture but Faith likes Disney anyway.
- Our Australian friend
Adrian Bruce's Science Fiction Fantasy
Design & Implementation page is quite impressive.
Adrian's a talented amature graphic designer and computer
animator who really ought to be working on science
fiction films in Hollywood with George Lucas instead of
engineering high-tech electronic sound equipment in
Japan!
- Marc writes a regular
column for Science Fiction &
Fantasy Models magazine. Their web site is a great
place for anyone interested in making science fiction
models to hang out.
- Marc also writes for Science Fiction Modeler
magazine
on occasion. SFM is another great magazine devoted to
model spacecraft and other such things from TV and films.
Check out their web page.
- Check out Charles
Many's science fiction oriented mail order business, Dark Empire for all your SF toy, model
kit, and magazine needs. Charles Many is a regular guy,
give him your business. Be sure to tell him that Marc
sent you!
- Christopher Russo
ought to write a book on Babylon 5. Check out his site if you
enjoy this great science fiction television series.
- Check out the Forbidden Planet Home Page. This web site is a
multi-media tribute to one of the greatest science
fiction films ever made!
- Like rockets? Then check out Sven
Knudson's web site. This guy has color images
of the box art from nearly every model rocket kit ever
made.
- Like to invest in
technology stocks? If so, the Silicon Investor page might provide you with
some good leads.
- Want to look like a
real man? Buying an authentic leather flight jacket might
help. US Authentic Manufacturing
Company
has the least expensive authentic USAAF style horsehide
A2 flight jackets around. These people are trying very
hard to present quality authentic flight jackets at
affordable prices. It's a commendable effort considering
that decent A2 jackets normally go for twice the price
they offer them at. How do they do it?
- Here is a web page
that presents a history of the classic USAAF type A2 flight jacket.
- When the A2 became
obsolete, the early USAF tried out a variety of nylon
flight jackets in an effort to find a suitable
replacement. You can buy authentic replica USAF L2, MA1,
and B15 jackets from the Patriot Company at decent prices.
- Check out the US Wings Aviation Mall for superior quality US
made leather flight jackets and other aviation gear at
reasonable prices. You can't do better than a Cooper G-2
from US Wings. Cooper had a Navy G-2 contract in 1989 and
they made jackets for the Army and Navy back in WW2. US
Wings owner Dave Hack is a US Army veteran who takes
great pride in offering excellent service. You won't be
disappointed.
- Marc and Faith were at
one time both members of Naval Reserve Patrol
Squadron VP-92. The Tactical Coordinator
on Marc's aircrew, Royce Stegman, built VP-92's web site
with a little bit of help from Marc.
- Marc is still a member
of VP-92 and flies Lockheed P3 Orions on weekends as an
Electronic Warfare Systems Operator. Learn more about the
mighty Orion at this web site.
- NEW! Check out the US Navy Patrol Squadrons Web
Site
to learn more about the international fraternity of
maritime patrol aviation.
- NEW! Learn all about Electronic Warfare Systems
Operators,
the US Navy's last enlisted flying rating.
- Genuine military issue
nomex flight jackets like the one that Marc wears on the
Orions can be obtained from the International Military
Supply Company. These are the real thing.
- Look here if you are
interested in learning more about the U.S. Naval Reserve.
- Did you know that the
US Marine Corps are experimenting with a modified version
of the popular Doom video game to train Marines in
infantry tactics? Check out the official Marine Doom site
and download the latest version of the Marine Doom WAD. It's pretty neat.
- Learn about one of
Marc's favorite films, 2001: A Space Odyssey.
- The New
Haven Railroad Historical and Technical Information
Association
web site. Learn about one of America's greatest (an
unfortunately long-gone) railroad companies.
